More commonly known as CFA, this system of piling is where a hollow stemmed auger is screwed into the ground by the piling rig, with minimal vibrations. Concrete is pumped through the hollow stem auger when the correct depth has been reached according to the site investigation and pile design. The concrete pressure, as well as the rate of flow, is measured by instruments on the piling rig.
