Extension and Internal Alterations
Exiting walls and windows were removed with bricks being retained for later re-use. External paving was removed and retained also for later re-use. Excavation to allow for construction of foundations was carried out and new steelwork installed.
The dining room, kitchen and hallway flooring was removed to enable access to the underfloor void to enable connection into existing foul drainage system and install new foul drain to proposed WC. Construction of new soakaway in compliance with Building Regulations also carried out.
Construction of external framed wall with brick cladding included with floor construction also comprising of new timber floor joists atop oversite concrete on hardcore base.
Roof construction consisting of roof rafters, trimmers, membrane, battens below zinc roof covering with all perimeter details and flashing constructed whilst ensuring ventilation beneath zinc layer.
A new sliding door system was installed and 3 rooflights incorporated.
Both 1st fix and 2nd fix electrcial and plumbing works including installation of underfloor heating system was carried out by Milan Building.
Internal finishings including plasterboard linings to walls and ceilings as well as making good existing surfaces with skim coats beneath Decoration was carried out to the clients specification.
